The Humane Society of South Central Michigan experts tell 95.3 WBCK they believe the kittens - named Rose, Petal and Thorn - were born to a mother who was a stray. She and her kittens were spotted by an observant pet lover and eventually made it to HSSCM.

It's believed the 6-month olds - one tiger, one orange and one calico - would do well independently, or with a buddy. In fact, ask HSSCM about a special deal when adopting two kittens.
