The 13th annual event to fund Haven Of Rest was another incredible success! Our loyal 95.3 WBCK & 104.9 The Edge listeners and followers came through big and once again, we reached our goal to help fund Calhoun County's place for homeless families.
Haven Of Rest provides vital services for the hundreds of homeless women, children and families who stay at their emergency shelter, known as Inasmuch House. This outpouring of community support has once a great deal of the funding that make these services possible. The Haven’s family shelter, Inasmuch House, is the only emergency homeless shelter in Calhoun County that enables families and single women with children to stay together. Last year the Inasmuch House shelter provided over 10,000 bed nights and over 15,800 meals.
