Back in 1948, the Ford Motor Company introduced their F-Series pickup trucks to the world, and ever since then it has been a major force in the auto world.

So when you've built up a reputation for over 70 years, how do you continue to innovate while staying true to that reputation?

For 2020, the Ford F-150 has answered that question quite definitively: you make sure you continue to perfect the core, while adding things on to sweeten the package.

Here on Tim and Nico's New Rides, thanks to Lakeview Ford Lincoln in Battle Creek, we got the chance to see what Ford has done with the 2020 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x4, and it was quite impressive. Make no mistake, this vehicle has the same reliability and power the F-150 has always had, with lots more to boot. The model we tested has diversified the abilities of what used to be a vehicle strictly for work, and made it one of the Swiss Army Knives of Ford's lineup.

The F-150 XLT has a variety of features to service its two main goals; workability and accessibility. It has things like 360 cameras, a 5.0L V-8 engine, the advanced SYNC infotainment system, towing assist, four-wheel drive, heated seats, and a lot more.

All of these things combine to allow this truck to not only work on the job site, but also serve as a family vehicle, without compromising on either.

The 2020 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x4, as well as the rest of the diverse F-150 family, do not disappoint, and can fit whatever role you need it for.
