HS Basketball – Spartans Stay Undefeated with Road Win

The Lakeview Spartans hit the road for the first time in the 2019-2020 campaign, heading to a place they have struggled to find wins in their history.

The trek was west to Portage Northern, where the Huskies call "The Igloo" their home. Northern has had the upper hand in the non-divisional match-up in the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference. Lakeview has only two wins against the Huskies in the last six seasons, with the Spartans winning both games at home. The Huskies have also won the last two after last season's 57-52 contest.

With a senior-led squad this season, the Spartans looked to change the tide.
