Calhoun County investigators have now found the vehicle they believe to have been involved in a crash that left a man seriously hurt.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says Thursday that they found the large pickup truck around 4pm, at a home in Perry, in Shiawassee County. They also were able to identify their suspect, although they aren’t saying if he has been arrested.

The suspect had been sought after he was involved in a four vehicle crash on I-69 near Mile Marker 45 on Wednesday; witnesses say the suspect pickup had been pulling a second vehicle from the ditch when it backed into oncoming traffic, leading to the crash. A 22-year-old man from Clarkston suffered life threatening injuries in the accident, and an update on his condition was not provided Thursday.

The crash continues to be investigated.
