Law enforcement, family and volunteers have searched for Brandon Darquice-James Anderson many times since his disappearance on Jun 20, 2005, but he has never been seen again.

At the time of his disappearance, Brandon was 21-years-old. He was a passenger in a Ford Taurus that collided with two other vehicles while heading east near exit 88 on Interstate 94 at approximately 1:45 a.m. Following the accident, Anderson crossed the highway, jumped over a fence, and ran into a wooded area on the property of the Ft. Custer Training Center. He has never been heard from again. An extensive search of the area turned up no indications as to his whereabouts. The driver of the vehicle also fled but was located not long after.

At the time, Anderson had a misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest; his mother speculated that he left the accident scene to avoid contact with the police.

Anderson's mother has said her son always kept in regular contact with her and she fears he may have met with foul play. Police believe he may have died in the woods near the site of the accident. His case remains unsolved. He was a father of an infant daughter at the time of his disappearance.

Brandon is described as a black male. When last seen he was between 5 foot 11 inches and 6 feet and 1 inch tall, weighed approximately 180 pounds, had black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the disappearance of Brandon Anderson is asked to contact the Battle Creek Police Department at 269-966-3363.
