Local law enforcement and agencies throughout Calhoun County will be available to the public this week to assist area victims of crime.

Crews found when they arrived that a maintenance person had been using a heat gun to remove paint from a window frame, causing the frame to catch fire.

Battle Creek's SAFE Place has been a lifeline for victims of domestic violence for 35 years.  Sadly, the problem hasn't gone away, and probably hasn't diminished.  But Battle Creek and Calhoun County are fortunate to have a strong organization to help...
