Traffic Stop Reveals Drugs And Weapon

A Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation, early Sunday morning, in the area of Grove Street and South Washington. An investigation revealed methamphetamine and a loaded firearm.

A 51 year-old man and 53 year-old woman, both from Battle Creek, were arrested on charges of narcotics possession and weapons violations. They were lodged into the Calhoun County Jail.
