Two Arrested After Search Warrant In Homer
Reports of a man waving a gun around in Calhoun County led to a few arrests last week.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says Monday that around 3pm Friday, June 9, they received reports that a man was waving an assault rifle outside of a residence in the 100 block of M-99 in Homer Township. As a result, a search warrant was executed to the home.
Inside, deputies found a large amount of methamphetamine and several pounds of marijuana; as well, several weapons were located, and among them was the assault rifle that had been reported.
Authorities made two arrests as a result of this investigation; a 49-year-old Coldwater man was arrested on a parole detainer, and a 34-year-old man from Homer Township was arrested on unrelated warrants.
