“Ivy” is one sweet little cat!  And she’d love to live at your house.  Ivy is about a year old, and was our guest in the WBCK studios.

Here she is purring into the mic.   After all, we’d just had treats!   Mmmm!

Jessica Gilbert, Executive Director of the Humane Society of South Central Michigan was Ivy’s chaperone…and chauffer….and in charge of cat treat distribution.  Ivy didn’t think too much of her driving, but she forgot all about it with a chance to check out the studio, me, and of course, treats.

As you can see, Ivy has a very pretty coat, and looks like she might have a little calico in her.

You can go pay her a visit, along with the other cats hanging out at the shelter on Watkins Road.

And if you’d like to take her home, just fill out the app and before you know it, she’ll be showing you the same affection she showed me….and we only just met.

Kennel and Adoption Hours:
Tuesday – Friday Noon — 6:00 pm
Saturday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

By the way, you dog owners.  The Humane Society’s dog park is open.  There are trails on the 25-acre property, and a fenced in area where you can let your dog off the leash.   It’s all free, but for safety you have to prove your dog is up to date on its vaccinations.
