Wiggly Tail Wednesday: Meet Little Polo!

This week on Wiggly Tail Wednesday, we got to say hello to a very sweet little puppy named Polo!

Jessica and Carrie from the Humane Society of South Central Michigan brought along Polo, who is currently available for adoption. Polo is about 5 months old, and came to the HSSCM from Texas. He's a mixed breed, and can be a little shy, but once he gets comfortable with you (which didn't take long) he is full of love and energy!

Polo would be a lovely pet for a family looking for an active and friendly dog. If you're interested in meeting him, and potentially adopting him, you can go to the HSSCM website here. 

The Humane Society has a couple of great events coming up in the next couple of months as well, as Jessica and Carrie informed us. On September 19, the Whisker Mixer fundraiser will take place; the event at Southern Exposure will feature wine, food, and a silent auction, all to benefit the shelter. Then, on October, 24, the Howl-O-Ween celebration will see pet owners taking part in a pet costume contest and trick-or-treating.

Another Halloween event, the Trail of Terror - Nightmare Circus, is happening October 19.
