Battle Creek Youth Advisory Board Picks New Officers

The City of Battle Creek's Youth Advisory Board has now selected their officers for 2017-2018.

The City says that they have selected Abi Fukuyama as President, Gabriel Williams as Vice President, and Isabelle Hammond as Secretary. Fukuyama is a student at Kellogg Community College, while Williams studies at Battle Creek Central and Hammond at Lakeview High School.

The BC YAB meets monthly, and is made up of Battle Creek residents aged 14-20. They address issues of importance to youth, and work with the Battle Creek City Commission; Commissioners Lynn Ward Gray and Andy Helmboldt serve as liaisons.
