Car Crashes Into Battle Creek Building

Calhoun County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of Capital Avenue N.E., around 10 PM Saturday evening, on a report of a vehicle crashing into the side of a building and then leaving the scene of the accident.

Fortunately, witnesses were able to give a description of the vehicle, which deputies located a short distance away.

The driver, a 28 year-old Battle Creek man, was treated for minor injuries and lodged into the Calhoun County Jail on charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Driving While Intoxicated.

The Accident is still under investigation.
