Lakeview Schools Evacuated After Threat Friday

The Lakeview School District is closed once again Friday morning after a threat was made against the district.

According to student reports, the High school students were bused to a safe location around 8am Friday morning. In a message to parents, the Lakeview School District said that a "non-specific threat" was made against the district, and the administration decided to close the district as a precaution.

Police say that the there is no evidence that students or staff were in any danger, but the district decided to follow safety procedure.

In a tweet, the City of Battle Creek says that police are investigating the incident.

This comes just 2 days after the district was closed over the threat of a shooting.
