Pennfield Township has a new Trustee.  Supervisor Dave Morgan says  the Board voted to appoint David Vandlen at their November 13 meeting.

Vandlin fills  the Trustee position which was vacated by Trustee Ryan Herbstreith, who moved out of the township.

David Vandlen has been a resident of Pennfield Charter Township for more than 75 years.  He is a graduate of Pennfield High School. Vandlen has been married to his wife Janice for 53 years and has two children  Sarah and Tom who both are Pennfield High School graduates.

"While we were sad to lose Trustee Herbstreith and thank him for all he has done for our township we are thrilled to have someone of the quality of David Vandlen join our board as a Trustee, " said Dave Morgan, Pennfield Charter Township Supervisor. “It was not an easy decision as we had 6 quality members of our community apply. David brings a lot to the table and a wealth of knowledge in many areas that will be helpful to the rest of the board as well as members of our community”.
