If you were a Congressman or Congresswoman and a representative from the National Center for Transgender Equality asked you to fly a Transgender Pride flag in advance of International Transgender Day of Visibility you might agree to that.  Would you then take down your POW flag to make room for the Transgender Pride flag?

I would think you would not.  If you choose to fly the Transgender Pride flag you would think that you would either replace another flag with it or just make room.

The Washington Free Beacon is reporting that some Democrats did not take that option and instead replaced the Transgender Pride flag with their POW flag.

Interesting on their choice, wouldn’t you say.

A Congresswoman from the state of Washington Kim Schrier, was one of those Democrats who replaced her POW flag with the Transgender Pride flag.  Congresswoman Schrier's office told the Washington Free Beacon:

"We were asked to fly the Transgender Equality flag by the National Center for Transgender Equality this week ahead of Transgender Visibility Day on Sunday…Our POWMIA flag has been in the Congresswoman's office this week. And will be back outside our office tomorrow."

The fact that they chose to fly the Transgender Pride flag is fine, the fact that they replaced their POW flag with the Transgender Pride flag is a choice that I do not understand.

What about you?
