If you live in Battle Creek and are in the Pennfield or Climax-Scotts school districts, you’ll be voting at a different place than usual next Tuesday.

The City says that for the May 2 special election, if you’re in the Pennfield School District and you normally vote at Precinct 15 Emmett Street Missionary Baptist Church, you will instead go to the Calvary Baptist Church on Capital Ave. NE.

Pennfield School District voters will be voting on a millage increase of .6 mills, which would generate around $8.6 million for district improvements, according to the district's website.

If you’re in the Climax-Scotts Community School District and normally vote at Precinct 20 First Wesleyan Church, you will instead go and vote at the Climax Township Hall on N Main St. in Climax.

Climax-Scotts voters will be asked to vote of whether to renew the 1.5 mill millage that has been in place since 2005, according to the district's website.
