A Battle Creek area gas station has reopened after closing for a few days to be thoroughly cleaned after an employee reported to them that they had contracted COVID-19.
Prosecutor David Gilbert released an opinion this week in the case of 46-year-old Joel Kellay, which said that an autopsy determined Kellay actually died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that around 8:41pm Wednesday, a resident in the 100 block of Sharon Ave. in Pennfield Township called to report lights on in a neighboring house that was being renovated. Deputies arrived at the scene and entered the house, finding two suspects inside.
