Two arrests were made over the weekend in Battle Creek, after a series of vehicle break-ins at businesses on the city’s south side.

The Battle Creek Enquirer says that Battle Creek Police officers responded to the C-Store at the corner of Columbia Ave. and 20th St, where the suspect vehicle was located; at the scene, police found a 31-year-old man and 34-year-old woman, along with stolen property. It was determined that they had broken into several vehicles and stolen items; it was also determined that they had suspected methamphetamine in their vehicle.

Both suspects will face theft and drug charges, with the woman facing additional charges after she allegedly used a stolen credit card to make purchases.
